From that date, all digital products and services covered by the directive will have to meet precise accessibility requirements, with the goal of ensuring an inclusive experience for people with visual, motor, hearing or cognitive disabilities as well.<\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-63804eb elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"63804eb\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h4><strong>To whom does the directive apply?<\/strong><\/h4><p>The directive applies to <strong>only to websites and mobile apps<\/strong> that fall under the <strong>services listed in article 2<\/strong> Of the directive, namely:<\/p><ul><li><strong>E-commerce services<\/strong> (websites selling goods or services online)<\/li><li><strong>Consumer banking services<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Passenger transportation services<\/strong> (online ticketing, travel information, etc.).<\/li><li><strong>Electronic communication services<\/strong> (e.g., telephone operators)<\/li><li><strong>Audiovisual media access services<\/strong> (e.g., streaming platforms)<\/li><li><strong>E-book and dedicated software<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Emergency call response 112<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><h4><strong>What does the directive NOT cover?<\/strong><\/h4><ul><li><strong>Does not apply to all websites in general<\/strong> (e.g., showcase sites, personal blogs, non-commercial association sites, etc.).<\/li><li>I <strong>public administration websites<\/strong> are already covered by another directive: the <strong>Directive (EU) 2016\/2102<\/strong> On the accessibility of public agencies' websites and mobile apps.<\/li><\/ul><h4><strong>Exemptions<\/strong><\/h4><ul><li>Le <strong>microenterprises<\/strong> that provide services (less than 10 employees and turnover\/budget &lt;2 million \u20ac) are exempt from the obligations of the directive.<\/li><\/ul><h4><strong>Obligations<\/strong><\/h4><p>If the website is among those covered (e.g., an e-commerce website), it will have to comply with the accessibility requirements of the
