Green Mentality

The theme of the environmental sustainability is increasingly becoming a topic that is at heart to all.

Particularly in the current context in which the e-commerce world is continuing to expand, as is the number of product deliveries each day, it becomes even more important to adopt policies of respect ethical and environmental. Many companies, therefore, are moving toward strategies of Green Marketing: With small gestures you can make a difference for our planet.

Such a strategy goes to minimize the waste of raw resources employed in production and distribution processes and goes on to create real competitive advantages. One among the activities introduced with respect to environmental sustainability is the choice of packaging, both primary and secondary, composed of a single material, totally recyclable, or from one that has already been recycled. Packages with the least impact on the environment include bio plastic, that is, biodegradable plastic, corrugated cardboard, and RPET, which is derived from recycled bottles. In addition, one should try to optimize weight and size of the packaging so that the amount of material to be disposed of is reduced, while obviously maintaining the protection of the product in transit. There should always be directions on where to dispose of the packaging in the correct way, or, in the case of returning the purchase, there should be the possibility of re-using the same packaging, without wasting more. It is also important that the whole supply chain adopts a green method: thus we talk about green logistics o Sustainable logistics.

Starting with these small and simple steps, it is possible in part to make our Earth's disastrous trend reversible. More and more companies are getting into this Green reality, partly because they are driven by real ethical motivations, and partly because they want to meet the customer, who is increasingly careful to choose products in line with environmental friendliness.
